This statue, as well as those of Edward VII when Prince of Wales and John Dunmore lLang, all of which are located in Sydney, is correctly attributed to Giovanni Fontana, but when you click for 'more'against his name, you are wrongly given the biographical details of the 16thC Roman architect and engineer of the same name.

Giovanni Guiseppe Fontana was born in I taly in 1821 but emigrated to England and became a British national. He was a sculptor of note, and a close acquaintance of the Pre-Raphaelites especially during the period of residence in Cheyne Walk. He died in Chelsea in December 1893.

His grandaughter, Tacita Fontana, also became an artist, both as a sculptor and as a violinist.

Dear Peter

Thankyou for this - we catalogue all our 'Creator" names against ULAN - the union list of artists names - and we must have linked accidentally to the wrong artist of the same name. I'll add this to my list of things to do.

Many thanks again

If you have been prescribed Bimatoprost, you can easily purchase it on-line, and then use it precisely as your doctor has told you to. At first, you could experience some signs and symptoms like itchy eyes, and hypersensitivity like conditions, however most of those signs go away in a few days. Your eyelashes will quickly start developing out once more, and will become thick by the time the drug route ends. http://www.strongtesterone.com/advanced-lash-eyelash-formula/
