This is not a chateau in Montfort, Brittany, France. It's the castle Montfoort at the city Montfoort in the Netherlands. The French demolished this Dutch castle in 1672. The only part of the castle that survived is some kind of gate building that is used as a restaurant nowadays.

It's an interesting fact that there are quite a lot of eighteenth-century drawings of "kasteel Montfoort". Like the drawing in the collection of the Courtauld Institute of Art these drawings are based on / related to older examples.

I believe Jan de Beijer did not make this drawing. The spelling of the name of the artist on the backside looks pretty suspicious to me. Moreover, this drawing is simply not his “style”.
