This is a fantastic resource for those tragics who gaze endlessly at the skies, where we can at least take solice in the fact that such work by such a fine East Anglian artist has been preserved and promoted (online) for our reference and enjoyment.

What is important, for me, is the economy of mark making combined with simple notes which when combined with Constable's studies emphasizes what imagination, power of visual recall and memory John Constable truly possessed. They are emblems for me to refer to as an East Anglian refugee in the brilliant blue sky light of Western AUstralia. Only now as the clouds roll by in winter can I indulge and attempt to chase their elusive beauty, and uncanny colours, with watercolours. http://jeremy-blank.blogspot.com/. Thank you JB.
