TEDxCourtauldInstitute are taking over to investigate the many exciting ways in which artists have explored and interpreted the theme of ‘Movement’ across the centuries.
Uncover the ways in which artists have captured movement in a variety of media through an in-depth art historian-led tour of The Courtauld Collection.
Take Part in an Art History workshop exploring ‘Movement’. How is it that this word has come to describe the essential things that make us human?
Collaborate with a contemporary artist and experiment with methods of interpreting movement into sculptural forms. The workshop includes a unique opportunity to draw from a live dancer in motion and create your own contemporary response in three dimensions.
