Private Tour and Drinks Reception: Ordovas Gallery

Tue 6 Apr, 2021

Pilar Ordovas founded her gallery after 13 years at Christie’s, where she was International Director and Deputy Chairman, Post-War and Contemporary Art in Europe, and two years as a Director of Gagosian Gallery in London. Ordovas stages three museum-quality exhibitions a year; scholarly in tone, these shows bring focus to historical works as well as modern masters and often present works that have not been exhibited for generations. Pilar previously supported the Courtauld Gallery with the exhibition Richard Serra: Drawings for The Courtauld and worked closely to bring the exhibition to fruition. Pilar welcomes Samuel Courtauld Society members to a private tour of the current exhibition Chillida: Rhythm-Time-Silence as she discusses her successful career in the art world.
