A year 6 class (children aged 10-11) from Windmill Hill Primary School in Swindon focused on the Daddi Triptych as part of a term-long project on the Courtauld Institute of Art Gallery. They looked at the history of the gallery and chose seven paintings from the Collections to work with in a detailed way, making links with art, design and technology, RE, literacy and history. With the Daddi Triptych they explored the content, identifying the figures and learning the stories told in the different sections. They then each produced their own triptych, where possible using the techniques and materials that Daddi would have used.
